Dr. Tamara Slinkard received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at University of Wisconsin-Health Fox Valley Family Practice. She is Board Certified in Family Practice as well as certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Basic Life Support.
Dr. Slinkard serves the needs of the family and that of the family members. At an early age she was interested in the sciences, liked kids and thought she’d like to be a pediatrician. While in college, she shadowed a Family Practice physician and watch him deliver a baby. That cemented her decision to become a doctor. Today, as a physician, she has the opportunity to take care of people of all ages and address a variety of health and medical concerns.
Though I like all aspects of Family Medicine, my special interests still lie in obstetrics, women’s health and pediatrics. I strive to care for the whole person-not just the physical illness, but the spiritual and emotional aspects as well.
Dr. Slinkard also finds time to be involved in her children’s school, church and Girl Scout activities.
